Was probably the only reason Walt took holly to begin with, skyler would not have gave two shits to call the cops if he left alone.

Greatest single episode? Could well be. My wife cried and cried. Hank set her up, Walts last words to Jessie was the wind up and then Jrs reaction and the ensueing confrontation was the home run.

It's going to end with Walt and Jesse in a standoff. Walt will use that big ass gun to kill all the Nazi's but Jesse will somehow survive. Then I'm guessing Jesse kills Walt.

That's not a fan theory that's blatantly obvious. You think Walt thought he would kidnap Holly and get in a knife fight with Skylar and the cops wouldn't be there? He knew good and well they were listening. I'm surprised there are people who didn't get that during the scene, he frigging broke into tears at what he was having to say.

I didn't think this show could keep 1-upping itself, but it did.  That could have possibly been the best tv show (hour) I have ever watched in my life.  It flew by and sure didn't feel like 46 minutes.  Amazing.

I don't think Walt thought of all that right when he kidnapped Holly. I think he realized what he needed to do when she started saying, "Momma" 

 

Walt is smart, but it would take unrealistic genius to have thought of all that within a split second.

The Holly thing was a spur of the moment thing, but Walt saying those things were on purpose to help the family.  Seeing the baby made him realize he had to help them and also give the girl back.
