The OFFICIAL Breaking Bad Final 8 Thread (with teaser trailer)

that was some of the best acting and writing i have ever seen. It rivals some of the best Sopranos episodes.

The scene where Walt is holding holly and she keeps crying momma. Walt knows it is over, that every reason he had to do what he did didn't matter because he lost his family

So when he was crying to Skylar on the phone he knew he was a defeated man. That was some of the best acting i've seen from both actors. wow.

Just watched last night's episode this morning on DVR.

I don't know what to say, I was left with my jaw hanging open the entire time.  Watching alone, I must have uttered all kinds of things aloud to an empty room.  This show has made me crazy, that's the best way to describe it.  I even had to run an errand afterwards to pick up a delivery, and the whole time could only think of how quickly things fell apart in that episode, and how Jesse was a millisecond from taking a bullet to the back of the head.  I couldn't even concentrate, that's how powerful that was.  If I had watched last night, I doubt I would have slept.

Part of me was glad to see Hank go, but I didn't think it was going to happen at first.  Then I felt smug watching Marie lecture Skylar knowing already that Hank was history.  I have always hated Marie, and that gave me some sick satisfaction (I hope I'm not alone in this lol).

I will have to rewatch later just to experience that dialogue again, it was amazing.  I feel that I should send a personal check to Vince Gilligan for what he has given me.

I still don't understand why he told Jesse that? What purpose did it serve?

Because at that moment he blamed Jesse for all of those events.  He led him out to the dessert, he was ratting him out, etc.  If he didn't do that, he wouldn't have called the Nazi's and Hank would probably still be alive.   He just wanted Jesse to feel what he was feeling.

The purpose was to hurt Jesse.  To hurt him deeper than anyone else in the world could.

As Zaximus said, Hanks death was on Jesse.  Id add to that its the first time the Great Heisenberg has ever had the consequences of of his choices hit so close to home.  And Walt knew that more than anything, that bullet, broke everything beyond his ability to control or contain it.

It's going to end with Walt and Jesse in a standoff. Walt will use that big ass gun to kill all the Nazi's but Jesse will somehow survive. Then I'm guessing Jesse kills Walt.

I think Walt will save Jesse while getting revenge on the Nazis, but become wounded in the fight and eventually die. He'll apologize to Jesse and Jesse will leave to start a new life.

As long as they don't fade to black in the last episode I will be happy.  But of course it would be funny to see them do it and then bring back full frame of action.

Have Walt and Jesse pointing guns at each other fade to black.  Couple of shots while in black,  Then full frame of Walt and Jesse shooting at each other.  That would be awesome!

I watched again earlier and the phone call scene was SO brilliant.  I can't even begin to describe how great Bryan Cranston is.  He's the best actor on TV and its not even close.

But the way he managed to for once in his life accept what he's done was somewhat shocking to me. But in the back of my mind I was thinking that he's basically saying he's ready for war.  He knows the chase is on, and from the previews for next week, its going to be him vs. the Nazis.

It looks like Jesse will make it to the end, but at this point I have no idea what part he'll play, and I'm kind of glad I don't know.

I've never really liked Marie, but I can honestly say I hated her and felt bad for her at the same time when she went into the car wash as cocky as ever.

The knife fight scene and the faux kidnapping of Holly was brutal.  I know its all a show, but that really got my heart racing.  I can't be the only one that thought Skylar was going to take a knife to the chest.

Agreed, with the speculation that Skylar must be dead when in the flash forward we see Walt making a 52 with his bacon at Denny's and using her maiden name on his fake ID.  It falls in line with Walt taking on characteristics of those who have died in his wake (Gus, Crazy 8).

I think Skylar will go into witsec with the family.  While she won't be dead in flash forward, she's gone forever, and could mean the same to Walt basically, so it could be that.

Cranson is probably the best actor on TV but I wouldn't say it's not even close, Jon Hamm is pretty close behind him.
