The mistake that will come back to haunt us MKG over Barnes?

YOLO!

Point, blank, period though, its to early to tell, wait till MKG is around 23, 24 years old, then compare.

I've literally posted that same sentence twice. And people still don't wanna listen. Compare them when he's 23 or 24 and see what u got then

He's barely filled into his body, and he's a big boy, man.  Most people at that age, with his size, are rail thin, he's actually a solid kid.

MKG can swing to SG and defend well just like Paul George can.

LMAO!

Paul George can play multiple positions because he can shoot and has good ball handling skills. He also has the foot speed to keep up with the smaller guards. MKG doesn't have the ball handling skills and shooting ability to play sg yet. They don't call it the shooting guard position for nothing.

Paul George has a lot of versatility in his game that allows him to play multiple positions.

YOU so FUNNY.

Are you guys really trying to win the love of JAI??? I know he said he was single, but not like that Ninja. He didnt meant it like that.

Jai you just became a famous man on this board.

Chuck throughout this thread you get derailed with personal commentary that never counters actual stats or reasons to debate you with. KKL was this guy in the NFL draft threads lol...you guys switch accounts?

YOLO was starting the Jai club bc he said Barnes is better than Green..but quickly the thread got quiet when Jai agreed, that to date...Barnes has not impacted his team any more than Danny Green has impacted the Spurs.

Saying the team will regret drafting MKG is a big statement. When the other guy is Barnes then it demands some protest bc Barnes has yet to establish himself or outplay MKG.

Barnes cant play PF, but MKG can play SG? What is wrong with this place

Barnes cannot defend the 4 position!! No debate on this! Barnes would only be somewhat of a mismatch for the slower 4's.

My bad on MKG being able to defend a shooting guard.

Here is a scouting report...by NBA folks. Sorry....grown up conversations now.

Strengths: Has been at or near the top of his class rankings since his freshman season ... A hard working kid who gets excellent reviews for his character and desire ... Should continue to improve thanks to his strong work ethic

... Relentless defender that has the ability to defend 1-5 at a high school level and 1-4 at the college level ... Equally as good off the ball and in passing lanes ... Excellent defender that understands that defense is about attitude and desire

... 7-foot wingspan and stand out athleticism allow him to play much bigger than his 6'6 height ... Michael rebounds very well utilizing his length and athleticism while never forgetting the fundamentals of boxing out ... Has a nack for being in the right position for rebounds ... Offensively does everything well whether it be set shooting or off the bounce ... Attacks the basket at will and also is an underrated playmaker ... Great motor, understands that hard work will lead to success

Sean Elliot will probally be the better player. Outside shoother and drive to the basket when defenders overplay the outside shot.

What is different than Barnes? Have you ever watched Sean Elliot?

If Barnes ends up with similar career stats he would have fulilled his expectations.
