I can believe it. But there's something about Beason's support that seems to carry a little more weight than anyone else....at least from my perspective.

I don't know about that.  Beason has already pocked a huge signing bonus plus his big contract from when he was drafted and first round guys got more money.  Kraken was a 5th round pick and is still on his rookie deal making peanuts.  (comparably)

Beason will be playing through pain all season, he will not be 100%. I'm not going to commend him for taking a pay cut. It was the right thing to do.  Carolina could very easily fill his spot with someone with no health problems.  Beason took the pay cut to keep his spot, plain and simple.

I find it hilarious that a portion of this fanbase was slamming Beason for his contract but NOW he's a good guy and a team leader as oppose to before. The Observer and an inferior site were leveling Jon but they're singing his praises now.
