DaRick Rogers is on the bills roster bubble. if he is cut, this team should claim him asap.

Uuuummmm...no.

And that article linked doesn't exactly bolster your argument. Makes him sound more like Dwayne Jarrett with an even worse attitude and work ethic.

difference is flashing potential. DJ never did that, in practice or preseason. he is a headcase, but needs  a vet to help him with the mental aspect. the leader on that bills WR depth is Steve Johnson, who is still a headcase himself so he has no leader to help him. were did you get his attitude and work ethic is worse than DJ from anyways?

Like vet leadership helped Jarrett?

Jarrett had flashes, but this guy is an even bigger problem child than he was. Titus Young is probably a better comparison.

you are also comparing two different people. just cause leadership didnt help one man, doesnt mean it will not the next. i never seen or heard about DJ flashing in the NFL. Titus has head issue, on meds for it and everything. if he was up there fighting teammates or misbehaving i would understand, but he has been out of trouble for over a year.

He’s kept his nose clean off the field, but so far he’s fighting for his spot on the 53-man roster.

Go back and read the article you linked.

Tell me who among the guys likely to make the team you'd take the guy in that article over.

i would take Darick over any WR on that roster not named Johnson or Woods.talent is there, but you have to get it out of him on a consistent basis. the article even states at times he looks every bit as good as any other WR on that roster, but he is making mental errors, and not consistent.

if he gets waived, someone will pick him up.

Our roster. Not theirs.

some believe Hixon will make the team after missing the entire preseason. i think he could compete with the back end of the chart with Ginn, Gettis, Edwards and has the potential to be a #WR like he was at UT.

Your most likely top five now are Smith, LaFell, Ginn, Gettis and Edwards. If Hixon sticks, it's probably on PUP.

Of those, only Edwards is iffy to me, and that may just be bias on my part because of his history.

But with that said, even though I'm not the world's biggest Armanti fan, I'm not up for replacing him with an inconsistent undrafted guy with attitude problems and a shady past. Heck, there will likely be better guys than him available after final cuts.

There are reasons why all 32 teams bypassed Rogers in the draft, and it would take more than a couple of good training camp catches to Negate those reasons.

those 5, with a Rogers rounding out as the #6 guy would be ideal. i dont think Hixon sticks because of his injuries. because a guy is undrafted doesnt mean he does not have the talent. most media puns had a 2nd or 3rd round grade on the guy.

again if he gets his head right, and stays clean off the field, then he will be fine.
