 Third-round pick Keenan Allen was left Tuesday’s practice after individual drills to get treatment on the knee that helped make him available in the third round in the first place. Allen tore the PCL in his left knee during his final year at Cal and it helped him slide down the draft board because the injury hampered his ability to make a good impression in pre-draft workouts.

Tom Krasovic of UT San Diego reports that Chargers coach Mike McCoy said that the treatment was related to that injury and that the team wants to stay on top of it, indicating that the treatment was precautionary rather than the result of a new injury or the aggravation of the old one. It’s still troubling for a team that can’t afford to go down another receiver with Floyd out for a while and Danario Alexander out for the entire season.

Doesn't make sense. The Iggles are switching to a 3-4 system also.

He's 31 yrs old, 5'11, 200 lbs. with 10 years in the NFL and relied on his speed as a WR. Sounds like he's slowing down. Not good for someone who made his living running GO routes. He sure didn't go across the middle a lot as a Taint.
