Plaxico Burress becomes the latest high-profile name to ride off the practice field in a cart.

 

 

The Pittsburgh Steelers' veteran wide receiver was forced out of practice Thursday after suffering an injury to his shoulder or elbow, according to multiple reports. Burress was reportedly injured while attempting to make a catch over defensive backs Damon Cromartie-Smith and Ryan Steed. Burress appeared to come down on his arm

Man, ATL's tackling and run-blocking appeared dreadful tonight, and I loved it. The Bengals' D-Line made damn sure that Jackson had an underwhelming debut. Trufant is a good corner but Alford completely outclassed him tonight. I wanted The Panthers to draft him after watching him shine at The Senior Bowl so badly.

I think in that battle, we win. We have a nasty pass rush and theirs is so-so.

Didn't we get 7 sacks in 1 half last year against them? And our d-line improved while their o-line crumbled since then. Nothing's a given, but I like our chances.

The rash of injuries around the League is actualy leading to some speculation that the relaxed practice rules may be a factor.

Yeah that one is not looking good. And they lost Danario Alexander last week to an ACL. Couple of tough breaks with your 1 and 2 WRs going down in pre-season.
