I couldn't agree more.

 

Ive been playing off and on and singing its praises since I discovered it by hitting the random link on Reddit back in Feb.

 

Gotta get .21 this weekend.

It took we a while to get into the game since it has such a steep learning curve.  But once I landed on the Mun and successfully docked I've been playing non stop.  Such a satisfying game when you actually pull something off.

Getting to Mun was a cakewalk for me next to doing an orbital docking and I haven't gotten good enough at that yet to launch a mission to one of the other planets.

 

 

It is hands down the most gratifying video game Ive ever played and by no coincidence the hardest.

I haven't gotten to a another planet either.  I tried to get to Duna but I ran out of fuel getting there.  Now with .21 I've been building a big space station.  I'm getting fairly good at going straight from launch to rendezvous without having to circularize my orbit.

Until I get to plenty of planets/moons and pull off every difficult thing I can think of I'm not even thinking about touching mechjeb.  

 

A co-worker of mine, who also plays, said I should just use cheats to visit every planet.  Hell no.

 

 

I do think I'm going to get the kerbal engineer mod though.  Or use mechjeb for some of the non autopilot features.

Yeah I check out the subreddit and the forums quite a bit.  I love looking at what others make almost as much as playing myself.
