I haven't used my paypal account in a while so I have to figure out if it still works.  If not I will email out my home address.  Usually I like to collect up front but most teams look to be regulars and a lot have already pm'd me to send them my address.  

 

I collected $900+ when I ran the 48 team leagues here a 5-6 years ago and everyone (well, the winners!) got their cash so I guess I'm as good a guy as any to hold onto it!

Fractional scoring is definitely the way to go.

 

For those unfamiliar, a player would get .1 points per yard, as opposed to only 1 point per 10 yards.  That way, you won't get screwed if a guy rushes for 109 yards.  I had a game last year where I won by .1 points.  A game of inches.

fractional scoring is not set as default and I do not have it set up in this league.  If you choose to do that in your IDP league you need to go into the commish mode and go into "edit scoring" and the first drop down menu lets you choose custom, fractional or standard.

 

I usually choose custom because that player who got 109 vs. 110 is part of the "agony of defeat" that makes this game fun.  But as you are commish I'm ok if you want to change in your league.  Keep in mind that some owners signed up under the rules already posted so they could have their own opinion(s) so any changes you make now that it is (almost) filled up should be announced on the league home page so that all owners are made aware.  If enough owners on the cash league speak up that they want fractional scoring I can roll with it but not something I usually set up.

 

In the IDP league you will have fractions factor into scoring due to the 0.5 points awarded for an "assisted tackle".  Those tend to rule out any tie games, but not impossible.

 

Also, I kind of like that some fantasy games can end in a tie.  shakes up the standings for everybody.  JMHO.

Just to be sure, our league isn't IDP, correct?  That link is for C47's league.

 

 

I don't mind not doing fractional scoring, but it just seems silly not to.  Every yard should count IMO.

 

 

We could set up a poll on the league page so owners could vote on it.

Am I supposed to be on this list?  I don't remember signing up for a money league on the Huddle...
