Yahoo.com: Jump on the Panthers bandwagon before it's too late

That one stung too but it was a good reminder to Cam himself that he isn't quite there yet. Hopefully, Cam will value more short passes and go through his progressions.

I agree.

I believe that we will see a completely different Cam Newton this year.

Smarter, faster, more control of the offense, and the short field set up by our front seven won't hurt anything.

Ummmmm...was he wrong to do so? Can someone not say that they think a team is going to finally turn the corner after going 5 seasons without ever holding a winning record at anypoint?

Not getting in a Cowherd debate and I get that he is all about ratings but I don't see what's so shocking about him saying the Panthers have been heading in the right direction and can contend in the division by winning some of the close games they lost last year. Not sure how that is going to get so many more people to listen to him.

Don't misunderstand, my gripe with Cowherd has nothing to do with his recent hating on the Panthers, it's just that I listened to him for maybe 3 years and he's totally full of poo half the time and loves doing revisionist history for example "No, that statement I made 3 weeks ago that makes me look like a total imbecile is totally not what I meant/said/happened"(followed by attempt to reinvent what was said).

After like the 100th time of him doing that I pretty much stopped listening to him, nothing wrong with being wrong from time to time, just dont try and pretend you weren't.  that's pretty much one of the few things I like about WFNZ is The Mac Attack because they may be wrong but they are also never afraid to admit it.

I also can't believe I just said I like anything to do with WFNZ
