Yahoo.com: Jump on the Panthers bandwagon before it's too late

First Atlanta game....gave it away

Second TB game....gave it away

Chicago game...dominated all game and gave it away

Dallas game...controlled game all day and gave it away

The smart analysts see this...that this team could have very easily (if not should have been). 11-5 last year.

And that Seattle game.  If Cam doesn't throw it into the dirt in the end-zone...

Sigh... I still can't get over how we lost to Atlanta the first game.  I am never one for "What if?" stuff because you can apply it to a lot of games but seriously, we had it won.

The Kansas City and second Tampa Bay game hurt pretty bad too.

Inb4tinfoilhats but seriously I thought the Chiefs game was horseshit officiating. So many penalties weren't called on them.

I'm not saying the Belcher thing played into it, but it definitely did.

Cowherd, ripped us to heck and back last year, now he thinks we could be good? Lol

I like the positive press but cowherd is going to say what ever he thinks will get people to listen to him, he's a sports talk radio version of a shock jock.

Ummmmm...was he wrong to do so? Can someone not say that they think a team is going to finally turn the corner after going 5 seasons without ever holding a winning record at anypoint?

Not getting in a Cowherd debate and I get that he is all about ratings but I don't see what's so shocking about him saying the Panthers have been heading in the right direction and can contend in the division by winning some of the close games they lost last year. Not sure how that is going to get so many more people to listen to him.

That one too...completely forgot that one.

That us what the experts who actually do their homework see. This team was very close last season and made some nice additions in FA and the draft.

Shutdown Corner has us #11 in their preseason power ranking.  I know your hearts are fluttering just like mine.

Wow, someone in the major media, who actually watched and followed the team, and it's QB, who doesn't speak in predictable, formulaic Cliche's.  Doesn't even matter, the prediction. It just seems like a rarity today.

Kudos to them and Frank Schwab! :goodjob:

I think this is going to be an exceptional year and only better in 2014. If you have followed my predictions at all you will know I have been down on the franchise since 2009 and have been pretty accurate (big whoop).

We are quietly making a run at something. I am convinced and more excited than I have ever been to go to games. 11 wins is there

Don't let me down!

And the Dallas game, the officiating was horrible especially at the end.

But still no excuses this season.  If Cam performs like he did the second half of last season and the defense continues to improve, the sky is the limit.

Yea, the no-call of PI on the Cowboys and the phantom horsecollar call on JA were particularly ridiculous.
