New Huddle App for Android....

So I guess no iPhone app anytime soon huh?

My friend's kid is an ubergeek studying to be an engineer.  He's dabbled in app design, and concurs that it's more difficult dealing with Apple (they demand you pay a hundred dollar fee for a 'developer license', for example) than Android.

I like the quick reply feature!

the only suggestion that I can make is to re organize the menu options so that the more frequently used items (ie: browse, notifications) are arranged at the top of the list.

It definitely has some bugs. In dark mode, sometimes the text color is the exact same as the background color in the quoted boxes. Making you have to highlight the post to read it. It also gets stuck and won't "refresh" the "unread" list no matter how many times you hit refresh and you have to close out the program completely to reset it.

There's a few other small bugs as well.

If you have an android 4.0+ phone we have a free Carolina Huddle app available to you. It has many features the web version does not.

Please install and let me know how it looks.

I don't know how it looks, but I wish I did.  Would have been nice if you had an app that was backwards compatible with Gingerbread (but, Froyo would even be better).  Just think of how many Huddlers are using old phones.

Back to the mobile web version...
