Sunday might not be too "happening" since there is no home game but there's a MNF game.  I probably won't be back in town until later Sunday afternoon, but I could possibly come out for a few beers or at least point you in the right direction to where you should go.

Cancel that Knights in. You can stay at the Ramada on Woodlawn for $59/night. It's in walking distance to the light rail so you can take that uptown and not have to worry about driving and parking.

Good call getting out of that place.  You don't want to be out by the airport anyway.  The party is a .7 mile walk from the Mint Street side of the stadium and will be less than a $10 cab back to the Blake.

I'm curious about how you became a big Panther fan when you have never even been in the state. Obviously that's not a prerequisite but we ain't talking about the Cowboys here. Panther fanbase is pretty regional I would imagine.

Smitty made some pretty sick catches that day and I've been watching them ever since.  I wish that I had started watching sooner but never really thought about the game.

 

I can blame my addiction to the game on Smitty for being Smitty.  Still my favorite Panthers player of all time and I can't see that changing.
