Round 1: Gerald Henderson, SG, Duke

Yeah, Im a UNC fan, and I love the pick. Henderson was Duke last year. He carried them through the ACC and into the sweet 16.

Also, he intenionally elbowed Hansbrough, but so what? I think it shows good competiveness and toughness. I hope he brings some of that attitude to the Bobcats. Any UNC fans still upset about that needs to let it go. I guarentee Hansbrough has.

Hendo can ball end of story I had him ranked as my number 2 wanted prospect behind T-Will good pick up for the 2nd unit. Like TWill Gerald WILL be a better pro I see him taking over the starting reigns in the near future.

Just work on those handles & watch nothing but Dwyane Wade film this offseason.

I like the pick...He was the best available player and a need...As for the elbow...Only duke diehards don't believe it was an intentional and flagrant foul...The refs thought it bad enough to eject him and the league found it bad enough to suspend him for a game...So to defend it is retarded.

First off I was joking about the Pacers comment.

I didnt bring it up, I let it go long ago. Other guys were talking about and I chimed in with my opinion.

Tyler is smart enough not to call him out in public over it. What good would it do having Roy or Tyler saying "Hey, that was a dirty play." Nothing would have changed.

Im a Bobcats fan and Im glad we drafted Henderson and not Tyler. He wouldnt have standed a chance in Charlotte. First off he didnt fit here and even thought its clear people had a high grade on him you Dookies would have never let it go that it was Tar Heels looking out for Tar Heels. You can go through and look at all the post I made about the draft and youll find me saying we should take Henderson. Minus one post, I said we should take Tyler and I also said "Homer Time" in it because I was joking. I would have taken Henderson over Williams and Hansbrough if given the chance. Im not the one saying I hope Henderson breaks his ankle and never plays again. I think this was the best case scenario for us at the 12th pick.

If your a college basketball fan you cant tell me that you dont hope players from your school have a good career. Im not going to rush out and buy a Hansbrough Pacers jersey but if they are on TV im going to watch.

Courtney Fells would be lucky to play in the D-League or Europe. That being said, I really hope that Henderson last to the Bobcats pick. And just for the record Im as big of a Tar Heel homer as they come.

Larry Brown loves Courtney Fells..he'll be a 2nd round pick no doubt in my mind...

1st round - Steph Curry (even tho I would take Tyreke Evans if I am trading up like they say they want to)

2nd round - Either Fells or the best wing on the board.

I really don't know what the Bobcats are trying to do with their team if they take Curry. If you take Evans or Derozan you have two guys who are talented enough to score as much as Curry can in the NBA AND they can play D on a bigger wing.

Derozan is a Rudy Gay clone and Evans really could be the next Brandon Roy with his size and ability to handle the ball. Both of those guys are players that the Bobcats shouldn't have passed up in favor of Adam Morrison and if they go with the college superstar yet again this year then they will be making the same mistake.

I rest my case......

I forgot to bring up Courtney Fells not getting drafted. I called that one.

It was reckless that's why he was suspended. He was ejected because the crowd was about to kill him and Tyler was bleeding everywhere. Anytime there is that amount of blood a player needs to be ejected. There is no way that was intentional.

Henderson was going for a hard block (Why was Hansbrough in the game anyways?) and Hansbrough flaked out, and as a result, Henderson unintentionally karate-chopped his face. The fans thought it was intentional, (understandably, it happened so fast they didn't really get to see what really happened) and yes, would have stormed the court and disemboweled Henderson if he was not ejected. Most of the people I know on campus don't think it was intentional now, having reflected back on it.

The only ones who still believe it was intentional are the people who never went to the school and have to prove that their loyalty is equal to the loyalty of people like myself who went to UNC by latching on to trivial events like Henderson's elbowing of Hansbrough like it was fuging Pearl Harbor.

People that are complaining about this because he's a duke player are just as bad as those that complained about the Bobcats drafting Heels.

Hopefully everyone shuts up about this irrelevant issue now.

Its not like he just punched Julius Hodge in the junk. It was a dirty foul in a big game. I'm not a fan of either team more than the other. Defending him is stupid. Piling on him is stupid.
