I know a thread is made any time a player is cut but I could see us having an interest at guard if he is willing to take close to vet minimum.

He tore an ACL in August last year.  Should be pretty healed up.  Also very possible he didn't heal good and that's why he was cut.

He's certainly worth a look and I bet we will due our diligence on talking with him.

If we did sign him we would still keep Hangman I am sure. Seems like we normally keep 9 anyway. I'd rather have Brandon Moore personally.

Honestly Wharton is easily top 5 all time offensive lineman for the Panthers, but now he's old and injured I'd say we give him a shot but as the others have said vet min should be it.

Did some research... Looks like he's not ready to go yet and would have started on the pup list as well.
