Little trick for crate training.

 

Put a blanket over the crate at night so they can't really see what is going in in the rest of the house, and will be prone to sleep longer.

 

Also, I had a small fan nearby so if the little lady or I were moving around in the house he couldn't really hear everything that moved.

Thank you. My dogs are getting along great! My German shepherd is being very gentle and very sweet to her. He brings her toys, he runs half speed so she can catch up and he'd lay down and let her mess with him. She sees him as a role model, if he hears noise and barks, she barks as well. She is being very protective of us already. Our neighbors come up to us to say "hi" and she growl at them. She sleeps great in her crate but she hates being alone. She always needs a human there for her comfort. Poor baby. As soon as she gets potty trained, she'll be crate free.
