Got a second pup

As some of you may remember, I got a purebred German Shepherd puppy from a breeders about 3 months ago and some of you gave me crap about not rescuing a dog...  Well,  today I rescued a baby pup pitt bull (3 months old) from animal shelter.  She's getting her surgeries tomorrow and I'll be bringing her home on Monday.  I'll post pictures when she gets home.

Here's baby girl Keera

Here's Keera meeting her older brother Killian

I did the same I went to the SPCA and found a particular breed my old lady has been wanting forever but never had the $1500 to $2 grand for a puppy. I pick him after they cut his balls Monday which sucks cause I would love for him to stud one day and get a free puppy.out of the deal.

anyway my dog is so ugly but god he is adorable.

Well done!!

She will be a very smart, sweet, and affectionate dog if you treat her right and I am sure you will. Socialize her as much as you can.

It feels good to save a life doesn't it?

She was confiscated from prior owners so it seems like she was mistreated. She will get spoiled in her new home tho. She will get lots of social time plus dog park every Sunday.

And yes, it feels great.

Nice job on a rescue although I wouldn't have given you hell for getting a pure bred its awesome you saved a dogs life.

We also have a pure bred german shepard and we rescued a border collie from a sheltet

My German Shepherd pup got very sad when he smelled another dog on my wife's shirt. He put his head down and walk into his crate... He don't know what's coming this Monday.

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
