beason didn't perform well last year although that was almost certainly due to injury

so .. you're saying their grading is based solely on last season? If so .. Beason only played in 4 games .. either way they're way off on that one .. he's not on the same level as those other guys ..

Tannehill is as good as Cam, both being "above average" O.o  Dwan Edwards and Godfrey are equally bad as Nakamura at below average O.o

This is funny.  They use our nickle defensive package to put three CB's on the field, taking off Davis.  Davis should rank above average and remove Capt as below average.

Their criteria for "elite" seems pretty harsh...Haloti Ngata didn't get an elite grade by them and he's generally considered the best at his position.

And what's up with London Fletcher getting a "poor"? Didn't he make the Pro Bowl over Kuechly as an alternate?

Wait wait wait, one more. Earl Thomas is above average, Golden Tate and Sidney Rice are on Steve Smith's level, and Percy Harvin is elite.

Fletcher is overrated and is getting misdirected recognition these days based on the longetivity and consistency of his career, but I certainly wouldn't call him poor.  I'd probably put him at average.

 

And there are some "elite" grades that I'm scratching my head at if players like Graham and Kuechly aren't getting "elite".  Like Reggie Wayne.  Yea, he's real good, but I wouldn't call him elite these days.  I woulda made him the dark green category.

PFF's ratings are based on stats. How can you expect them to give a high grade to someone who's been injured last year? They're not gonna invent some training camp, recovering-from-injury metric just for something like this. I trust these guys -- their evaluations are certainly more justified than the regular fan's.
