Phil was hitting great shot after great shot. Hell of a round and hell of a guy.

The thing I love about Phil is that he wears his heart on his sleeve and is one of the most genuine guys in sports. You don't hear him out there cursing and you don't see him out there throwing clubs, even during the tough times he keeps his composure.

I don't know if you guys heard but earlier in the week Phil was walking up the fairway and looked to his right and saw a kid with a broken arm about 45 yards way. Phil walked all the way over there and tossed the kid his ball.

It doesn't get any better than that.

The courage Phil showed a few years back when his wife and Mom were going through cancer won me over as a fan. Huge family guy which I love and he respects the game.
