Enjoying this... I hope it stays bunched up...

On a side note... Scott Van Pelt is one of the best golf announcers around... he should get a full time gig doing it.

He's better than anyone NBC has.  Him and Nance would be awesome together.

Agreed.

100x better than Berman too

Nance sucks... they haven't yet built a booth big enough to hold his ego. Between him, Mike Tirico and Stuart Scott, there are no larger Tiger ball-huggers than those 3.

"A tradition unlike any other...." please stfu.

Nance does have an ego, but he's a good announcer... He's certainly not more arrogant than Faldo. That guy's a huge douche.

...and all of them are on Tigers nuts. He could shoot 90 and they'll still talk about his great play.

They are on his nuts.

But Tiger has 7 PGA wins in the last year plus.

He's the #1 ranked golfer in the World.

#2, Rory is a mere shadow of himself.

They talk about his great play because well, he plays great, no one else is even close in the results column.

I know it sucks if you dislike Tiger, but it is what it is.

Quote from Tiger:  (on an Open app on my phone so I cannot link)

"I've got 14 of these things and I think I know what it takes to win it."

My question would be.....well then, why is it you haven't won a major in 5 years?

Such an arrogant prick.  I hope he never wins another major.   For the record, early on, I was a Tiger fan.

Except for a few odd rounds, Tiger has played great this year.

He is the world #1 and arguably the best golfer ever.

He is however, not the only golfer playing, and it gets annoying listening to them slobber over him like he is.

I don't dislike Tiger as much as I dislike the media's reaction to him.

I know exactly what you mean, the Brett Favre ball licking used to make me puke.

I guess if I liked Favre, it would have been different.  ;)

LOL, in response to what actually is an arrogant statement by Westwood:

"Even though I haven't won a major, I know what it takes to win one," said Westwood, who was at 3-under 210. "It's just a case of going out there tomorrow and having the confidence in my game, which I've got. And putting it to the test."

Sunday figures to be the toughest test of all.

Despite his late blunder by hitting into a bunker and making bogey on the par-5 17th, Woods held it together for a 72. Mahan matched the best score of the third round with a 68 and will play in the final group for the second straight major.

"I've got 14 of these things, and I know what it takes to win it," Woods said. "He's won tournaments all over the world. He knows how to win golf tournaments. He's two shots ahead and we're going to go out there and both compete and play. It's not just us two. There's a bunch of guys who have a chance to win this tournament. And all of us need to really play well tomorrow to win it."

Of course Tiger realizes it's not just him and Westwood, but you keep on hatin'!
