Why would they? If the media outlets you mentioned were in the business of reporting on unconfirmed or even confirmed gossip of star athletes texting other women while being in a "committed" relationship there wouldn't be enough time in a day to get it all in.

 

Only people who don't realize that are the insecure "But if Cam did it......" whiners.

 

But don't worry, if there is more to the story and it picks up steam, they will be forced to pick the story up also and you will all be vindicated.

So why did the Daily Mail, in England report it it?

 

And why would the NFL Network, even bother to critique Cam, and his Falcons comments (a WAY LESSER News worthy than Griffin), that doesn't even deserve mention?? Come on. At least be consistent; more cognizant. Are you that naive?

 

Plus, I was just being flippant, and you wanted to make an apparently principled comparison (as if you really could), to a 'throw a way' statement.
