A random story about when I use to do PCP.

I forget the year and I guess it doesn't really matter. Me and a buddy had just enjoyed some good green with the next door neighbor.

We are driving to pick up my aunt in my mom's green 1977 Catalina. The kind that had a mafia trunk where you could put 7 bodies in.

My little bro is also with us and he knows we are just zonked and I pick up my aunt and she goes why does it always smell like Jovan when I get in this car? I kinda roll my eyes because I had nothing clever to say without bursting into laughter.

Little brother goes oh I know and then I give hiim this glare thru the rear view mirror that communicates so many things at once. Death. Destruction. No more sports and forget about me bringing any of my girl friends over for him to oogle. So he shuts up.

Get back home and my grandmother is there. Me and my boy are still baked and she goes I need to make a pecan pie. Can you boys climb up the tree and knock down some pecans? Sure I thought.

I get about 40 feet in the air in the tree and I'm jumping up and down on a limb and pecans are falling like manna from heaven. Then it hits me. I'm torched and I'm in a friggin pecan tree. Then I just latch onto the tree for dear life for the next 2 hours.

My buddy did all he could just to hang on without laughing so hard that he falls to his death.

Later that night we ate a delish pecan pie.  I may share similar stories of PCP and other incorrect usages of items meant for other things later.

I don't recall the official clinical term but it has to do with detachment from reality. Not sure how to articulate that but its where the true use of the word high comes from. You feel 100 feet tall.

Do not try ever.
