I saw Rivera getting better late last year. He was willing to go for it on more fourth downs. However, I am hoping he does not over-compensate with the gutsy calls. Also, if we start out slow, his azz best be gone. No point in losing when it matters and winning when it does not!

At this point I'd rather him be gutsy and go for the jugular even if we fail, versus being a pussy and laying down. Like wasting 3 timeouts and 2 minutes with the ball before halftime and not even getting a field goal.

I think that Rivera is a very good coach, he's just an awful, AWFUL, game manager.

I've only ever wanted him to focus on fixing the defense, and hire somebody with a strong offensive mind to help him on the offense side.

 

 

 

Until that happens, I've kept my expectations rather conservative.
