Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Richardson family.

Hope the team and ownership dedicate this season to his memory and it keeps us going strong all season long. I want the players to make this season memorable for Mr. Richardson.

Could not have said my exact sentiments better. Prayers to the Richardson family.

Thats one disease that I truly hate. It took my father's life and now my sister is battling it. Its tough to witness someone fight through that disease. I hate to hear of anyone's death. I send my prayers and condolences up for the Richardson family. Hang in there Big Cat

Having survived lymphoma twiice, I can tell you that it is hard on the family. Mr. Richardson and his extended family have been through a lot, as has his son.  Winning will not bring anyone back or cure a disease, but it could help the Richardson family deal with the agony by giving them a pleasant escape.

I cannot imagine a greater pain than having to bury your own child.  My great grandmother lived to be 100 and outlived all but one of her children.  There was one two month span where she buried three of them (my grandmother included).  She just kept sobbing, "No parent should outlive their children."  It was one of the hardest things to watch in my life and I wasn't even a parent then.

God be with the Richardson family through this time.

Thoughts are with the Richardson family. By the way, am I the only panther fan that is offended that NFL Network nor ESPN has even brought it up but any other tragic event (I.e Robert Kraft's wife died, Andy Reid's son overdosed) gets full blown coverage... I think it is kind of a slap in the face to Mr. Richardson considering his position in the league.

Just to be clear Mark Richardson was our former President and Jon had a similar title but was in charge of Stadium Operations.

With that said I am very sad to hear this. Jon was always considered the "Blue Collar" Richardson that worked his tail off and preferred jeans to a suit. I am very sad for Mr. Richardson and I hope he can endure.

The Panthers have plenty of people that can take care of business with training camp looming. I just hope the Cat gets some time with his family.

Yeah but to be honest Jerry doesn't like making his family public anyways.
