Anyone care to share their experience with insurance plans.

I have basically narrowed down to either AppleCare for 2 years, $99

Or Squaretrade for 2 years, $99

WTF - insurance for a phone?  you got to be kidding me?  I been using my old motorola w 376 for 5 years now - cost me $20 and I got 60 minutes of air time with it from trac phone.

They probably pay out 15% of that $100 in claims, if that,, so if you feel like tossing someone a nice chunk of profit go for it.

does your carrier have a plan? i cant remember if i had iphone insurance thru att or not.
