While some of it is restating the obvious, this is not bad analysis by SI.com about the Panthers, if anything it is much more optimistic of our outlook than DG...

What's with this guy adding 55 lbs. to Tolbert's weight? Hard to put much stock in his opinion if he can't get his facts straight.

Yea ur right. I didn't catch that. I think this guy (the writer ) writes on both the Panthers and Ravens regularly. Kind of strange. I'm on my phone so can't verify right now but I think that is him. College student writes on Yahoo a lot also. Good catch on the weight error regardless.

I actually enjoy reading PFT sometimes, but in terms of their rankings having any predictive value for the upcoming season...its almost comical.

On a bright note as far as NFL predictions for 2013, FootballOutsiders released their almanac for the 2013 season last night.  They have the Panthers winning 9.5 games on average, hands down the class of the NFC south, and a top 3 team in the NFC.

Points out our one glaring weakness is horrible coaching, shows how poor coaching decisions cost us many games last season, and how we should have been a playoff team.  Talks a little about Cam in pressure situations (2nd half, in one score games) and how his performance increases greatly in those spots.

New Orleans ranked second in the division, projected to win 8.5 games, Tampa at 8.3.

Atlanta regresses heavily, with a projection of 7.8 wins, based on an aging team, who barely beat a lot of bad teams in 2012.

Don't wanna post too much of what they wrote since it's actually a book their selling.  If you're a math guy you'll really love it.  Even if you're not its a 600 page PDF of very in depth football analysis.  I think its $12, well worth it.
