The Giants have 4 QBs, and he is in a battle for 3rd QB with Rhett Bomar.

One of them is going on waivers, and I think Woodson would be worth a pick up.

Andre is most likely getting cut or put on their practice squad again. The giants just signed QB Rhett Bomar recently. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/06/24/bomar-contract-details/

It couldn't hurt to try him out if he does get cut, but I don't think the panthers are a good offense for him. If I remember correctly, he's pretty good at throwing short yardage passes, but has weak arm strength and is very slow in the pocket.
