Apparently he is in critical condition with a heart virus.

Always liked Randy and his music. A true country star. The fact that they keep finding him intoxicated and arrest him as he politely complies only convinces me more he is a legit country guy. It seems southerners and Englishmen have one thing in common, they are polite in their debauchery.

I don't really listen to country, but Randy Travis was one of the first country artists I ever heard of.

If you do a little research on Travis, you will find that he was a complete POS as a person.  He was always in trouble.

I remember hearing from a lot of people down around where he comes from saying that his brother is/was a better singer, but that he's such a terrible alcoholic he never got his act together to take his shot. Alcoholism must run in their family. Sad.
