There are very few players that you might recognize on the D-League Select Team: Kyle Weaver (was drafted by Charlotte), Darnell Jackson (former Kansas standout), Elijah Millsap (Paul Millsap's little brother), and Dominique Sutton (former North Carolina Central standout) are probably the most recognizable; but don't let that fool you... the D-League Select Team is the most experienced team in Summer League and are currently undefeated. It will take a great effort by the Bobcats..erm Hornets... to knock them off.

Coordination certainly is a problem...

Anyone that has seen him play can tell you that his hand eye is terrible. He might be one of the worst dribblers in the NBA and he really struggles catching the ball. He is rarely fed the ball because most of the guys realize by now that he won't catch it. There have been times when he can't even catch the pass from the ref when he is shooting free throws.

If you want to see someone with coordination, watch Cody Zeller, then watch Biz. If running means you have good coordination, then everyone besides Stephen Hawking has good coordination.

I will give you that he does over-think... you can see that by the way he crouches down and holds the ball in the paint waiting to think of what to do.

But to say that he is coordinated is ridiculous.

I watched all but about 5 games last year and every SL game this year (watching the game from last night right now in fact). I Have watched plenty of Biz. A man that is uncoordinated cannot block shots in the way that he does. Using ballhandling to say he is uncoordinated is a bad example. How many big men actually dribble well? Heck, Biz might even dribble as well as Ben McLemore and Shabazz Muhammad based on what I've seen in SL. Biz isn't uncoordinated. He lacks any instincts on the offensive end.

1. Blocking shots has nothing to do with coordination besides jumping... If anything it proves that Biz has good timing, but realistically if you have arms then you are capable of blocking shots...

2. I mentioned three key components that Biz struggles with and two of the three revolve around hand-eye: catching, ball-handling, and footwork...

3. If I really need to list big's who can dribble just to prove a point then this isn't even worth arguing about... If you have been watching our Summer League then you would have seen a seven footer out there by the name of Cody Zeller that has great handles. Then there are guys like Kevin Garnett, Derrick Coleman, Shawn Kemp, Chris Webber, Lamar Odom, Anthony Mason, Toni Kukoc, Hakeem Olajuwan, Tim Duncan, Andrea Bargnani, Chris Bosh, Blake Griffin, Boris Diaw, Antawn Jamison, Pau Gasol, Arvydas Sabinas, Larry Bird, Dirk Nowitzki...

I mean come on.

I think he is using coordination to refer innate athleticism and movement (basically saying that Biz is not a stiff), while you are talking about it in the basketball sense of moving around within the flow of the game.

Biz clearly doesnt have the experience moving around in an offense (or defense for that matter), but he does occasionally make a move with the ball that makes me think he could eventually develop into a passable offensive player.  Its not like he needs to be taking people off the dribble, just enough to take one dribble to the basket and go up with it

But yeah his hands suck

Biz just has minimal feel for the game. So is it coordination...Maybe..but he attacks and has good rebound and block anticipation.

He just does not anticipate passes and ability to secure it in a coordinated matter.

It would be like a baseball player who can hit well but cannot catch..his coordination is specialized.

He just does not know when a pass can hit him..or possibly has little experience with a good passing teamate to anticipate him getting passes.

Overthinking is definitely a problem esp in game 2 when Zellar was hitting him on beautiful bounce passes and Biz catches, hesitates, goes up then realizes he should have dribbled...n travels.

That part needs to be smoothed out. He just needs to be around great passers which Charlotte has not really had since Biz has been on the team.

Dysons one good game is an outlier to me..I have seen too much tunnel vision and C- ball handling.

I would rather pursue the Pg on the D league (Sephon Hannah) team we play tonight. He is pretty good in the pick and roll.
