MKG for Rondo sounds good right now.

JT is the only player worth a poo on offense on this summer league roster.

I like our offensive sets though and Big Al and Kemba will fit well in this offense.

When Zeller starts making those midrange jumpers he will be tough to guard.

Also for those worried about his defense he showed again tonight that he moves his feet very well for a big guy. May not block a lot of shots but will be in good position.

Remember most of the guys that we know are decent... Jamie Skeen, Deron Washington, Rodney McGruder, and Brandon Triche didn't play today.

Zeller will look a lot better when he:

 

1) is playing with a competent PG to run P&R with

2) gets some more in-game mid-range shots up

They will get their turn... that's how summer league works.

 

They divide the guys that aren't on the roster into two separate groups. Those guys weren't in the group to play today.

 

They will see action in the next game.

So the seeding is based off of w-l record then quarter scoring totals, then head to head, then point differential, then a coin flip...

 

We led the last two quarters so we walk away from the game with two points.

Not having good PG play ruined the game for me.

on the one hand Jeff Taylor looked pretty good!

 

on the other hand Zeller looked real average, it's going to take time with him and his jumper. Not having a great PG definitely didn't help him. 

 

Patrick Ewing Jr. got some major minutes tonight, he hustled pretty well.
