I don't see Jagr offering much here. He was terrible in the playoffs.

I'm not really big on him either, there is only so much a 41 year old is going to be able to give you.

He's a top 20 player in NHL history, but unless he's on the third line; he's not offering much.

Jagr would make perfect sense on the third line with Lindholm. He played decent in the playoff's he just didn't get the stats to go with it, he was around the puck making plays and getting scoring chances, just didn't capitalize on them.

On 99.9 the fan, Raleigh sports radio, JR just stated that this mystery free agent is waiting patiently for a roster move to take place to free up some cap room.

It's Jagr and he probably wants 4 million when we can literally only offer him 3 million... I don't know what else he wants us to do... There's not a single roster move to make.

The problem is that he have five rfa's to resign and a draft pick to sign (assuming he makes the roster).

At this point I hope its not Jagr.  We are in over our heads against the cap.  Signing him isn't going to help.  There are better ways to spend that money.  I feel like we are already patching holes with bubble gum to stay afloat.

Jagr would be a good guy to have on the third line with possibly two rookies in Rask and Lindholm but at three million (and especially four million) dollars, it's not worth it.

 

He's a 41, not 21...

 

I'm not going to lie though... This line-up looks solid
