Writings on Jefferson

Seen this on the observer and wasn't sure if it was posted here but thought it deserved its own thread:

There is a lot of great stuff there.  From mentoring to never giving up at the end of the season, etc.  He seems like a really good guy.   Also, it seems that he takes offense to that "black hole" nickname so it's nice that he doesn't just brush it off.

Cool another Al Jefferson thread.

I don't post much, but have been an avid reader for a long time.

I've literally never thought a single one of your posts were productive in any way.

This ESPN writer is not a fan of the move...

"Even though it's not a four-year deal, the price tag of $13.7 million per year is excessively steep (I had him valued at $10 million per year), and one has to wonder if Charlotte jumped the gun with this deal. With word of Golden State preparing to dump salary in order to make an offer for Dwight Howard, the Bobcats would have been better served acting as a facilitator and being able to snag a piece like Harrison Barnes in exchange for taking on the salary of Andrew Bogutor Andris Biedrins. ... If this signing happened next summer, I'd appreciate it more. But the Bobcats have put themselves in the position to improve in a draft year expected to be stocked with high-level talent, and to make matters worse, they overpaid in the process."
