Hypotheticals and Stats

Lets say the Buzz come out with this lineup..

PG Kemba; Hell of a scorer could drop 30 points a game any given day, plays decent defense.

SG Hendo; Another player who can score 30 any game, his defense is coming along.

SF MKG; Hell of a defensive monster, and seems to be developing his offense nicely.

PF Big Al; Will produce 20/10's and the occasional 30+ games, but he is lacking defense.

C Biyombo; A rebound and block machine, hopefully Patrick Ewing can teach him to score.

I'd imagine Biyombo and Jefferson will be switching from PF/C often while throwing Zeller in the mix.

Here is what the above starting lineup would be averaging..

65 points per game

13 assists per game

5.1 steals per game

5 blocks per game

29.5 rebounds per game,

Here is what the bench averaged last season..

37.1 points per game

7.7 assists per game

2.5 steals per game

2 blocks per game

13.7 rebounds per game

Now lets add that all together.

102.1 points per game

20.7 assists per game

7.6 steals per game

7 blocks per game

43.2 rebounds per game

So lets say we averaged these stats last season..

The Buzz are #3 in points

The Buzz are very low in assists, around #20 but, I believe Big Al will improve his game.

The Buzz are #4 in rebounding

The Buzz would LEAD the league in blocks.

The Buzz would be #6 in steals

I know we need to work on a lot of issues like assists. I'd also like to bring in a very cheap PG to back up Kemba. Jannero Pargo would be the ideal backup. Pargo killed it coming off the bench last season while we had him. I don't think we are going to be a great team this year but if things go right, we might squeeze into the playoffs if we have an ideal season. On the other hand if Zeller becomes the player Cho thinks he is and averages 14/8 or something like that, then watch out for the fuging Bobcats.

hope you guys and gals had a good read.

MKG's offense hasn't really shown THAT much improvement......here's to hoping it will this next year.

Also if we are doing prediction threads here's one for you: Kemba makes the All-Star game next year.
