This raises the stakes to almost impossible levels; “The Lone Ranger,” which cost at least $375 million to make and market, will need to take in an estimated $800 million worldwide to break even, after accounting for revenue splits with theater owners.

 

That is absolutely ridiculous. Disney gets what they deserve.

Throwing money at a movie for big name actors and special effects doesn't make it a good movie. Retards.

A girl I know went to go see it just because Johnny Depp was in it. I told her it was going to suck and she didn't believe me. Half way through she walked out. 

 

 

Also, am I the only one who thinks Johnny Depp's performance just seems cringe worthy in this?

Yeah but George Lucas controlled the prequels...i cannot imagine it being more mishandled and disconnected from what drew fans in to the original trilogy.
