Let us celebrate how John Adams suggested...

 

I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.

 

 

 

So I am going to go watch a parade, watch a shew on TV, play xbox, toss the football with my boys, fire my shotgun, ring a bell, light a fire and some sparklers.

 

Done, done, and done.

Sitting on my balcony in treasure cay in the Bahamas making plans to kayak the mangroves. They have lots going on but not for independence day. They celebrate theirs on July 10th. The weather is decent but too rough to dive or fish unless you are good with 5-6 foot swells. I prefer chamber of commerce weather with 1-2 ft seas. We will drinking beer (kalik) doing the limbo and listening to Reggae bands.

Hope everyone is not too waterlogged there.
