J.R. Smith being "Courted" By The Bobcats

Recommended Posts

I don't see there being tension at all. Smith is a great shooter (something the Bobcats have only had twice: Stephen Jackson/Jason Richardson) and a player that could actually help Kemba. It would be one thing if Kemba and Smith played a similar game, but they are two different players. I actually recall you wanting Kemba to be a a pass first point guard like Chris Paul... well with players like J.R. Smith and Al Jefferson, he finally gets the chance to be that point guard.

Also if you are worried about people taking shots away from Kemba, you should start with your guy Big AL who attempts more shots per game than J.R. Smith.

Sure, but I don't see Kemba benefitting anything in his passing game from JR. The ball is gonna be in his hands extremely much. It's different with Al. Kemba will benefit by having a guy in the paint/post to pass the ball to. Kemba could improve his assist by 2 with Al. Add in Zeller too.

I think Al will be great for Kemba, it finally give him a player that he can feed the ball to in the post.

I think Jefferson and smith makes us a possible 4th seed.

Miami, Chicago, Indiana, and Brooklyn will be the top 4 seeds. Jefferson and Smith aren't good enough to pull the worst team in the league into contention with those teams.

Arguable, depends on the chemistry with new players for us, Indy, and Brooklyn, but odds are that you are right and we are a 5th seed if we added both. I just think Kemba, MKG, and Zeller are going to be a lot better than people expect this season.
