no quarterback that's actually worth a damn is actually "humble" when they're on the field.  maybe they're humble in the sense that they have a self-effacing, nose to the grindstone attitude when it comes to film study and work ethic (which cam has proven to have), but  such a concept runs counter to the desire to have the ball in your hands with the game on the line.

 

jake is revered for being an "aw shucks, i just want to help the team" type guy but you're crazy if you think he didn't walk on to the field against the rams or chargers with the game on the line believing that he was anything but a golden god who was about to face fug the opposing defense and rip out their guts.

Those comments are pure ignorance and nothing else. He is going on 3 years in the league and we are still hearing about that stolen laptop. And the naysayers are still trying to call it constructive criticism??........Please. And when it comes to the attitude, does anybody think about the fact that that happened early in the season and it only gets put on TV and not the good things he does?? I have been done with the critics and national media towards Cam a long time ago, and i am comfortable with the fact its never gonna go away. Cam will do great things with our team and thats all I care about.

Cams media image is going to be just fine. they are going to push this story "arc" they've been building for him.  hes immature, not a leader, etc etc.  within a few years we are going to be winning alot, then they'll switch over to how cam's team skills and maturity developed and its the difference in our wins and losses.

 

i find most ppl are jealous of cam hence why they dont like him.  rich, freak athlete dominating a game run by freak athletes, good looking, well spoken, well dressed, etc etc.  most football players look and speak like farm animals and those visible flaws somewhat balance out ur average male's desire to compete.  cam doesnt have visible flaws, so they have to nitpick and make poo up.

I love Cam, heck my hoes know I love Cam but he does have some maturing to do. Hoepfully he does not pull crap like this in this our superbowl season
