we're dealing with the wari empire, which is middle horizon, around 600-1200 CE. you see some similarity to paracas pottery styles, which is lower horizon, and definitely similarities to tiwanaku. most of it's slipped, inclusions are mostly fragments of older shards, etc. it's about standard for the andes as far as materials and processes go, but unique morphologically.

Never heard of the Wari empire, i am ignorant about south America history, i am a litle more confortable with everything north of honduras.

But this is certainly fascinating since we (i) have much less informations.

I wish you luck with your researches, but now i am expecting a book!

looks like your bottom shelf is top shelf

Bottom shelf is like liqueurs and poo and some foofy poo for the misses to grab. Some of it is good and expensive or at least a little higher up like grand marnier and chambord and crap. Next shelf is the standards of rum and tequilas and vodkas and all that. Top is mostly various scotches and better-than-Hennessy style cognacs. I actually have a seperate cabinet with MUCH more, and another nice glass front cabinet that has everything that is over $100/bottle. Macallan 18, Johnny Blue, Corvasiour XO (sp?), small bottle of Louis, etc.

I don't know why but I buy alcohol regularly just to throw up in the cabinet without looking if I have it. The most I have is Crown (probably 3+ 1.75L bottles) and Pinnacle Whipped Vodka (at least 2 big ones and a couple fifths.) my wife is a big pinnacle whipped fan with pineapple-orange juice.
