Police arrest man for filming raid, then shoot his dog in front of him (NSFW)

If you didn't watch the video you really can't comment on it. But if you're a dog lover I definitely wouldn't watch it because the dog dying is pretty hard to watch. I just have to say two things

 

 

1. That guy who was arrested was clearly starting poo

2. I honestly can't blame that cop for shooting the dog. It was pissed off and easily could have killed any of them.

On another note, the guy was probably not arrested, he probably was "legally detained for his own protection" ...legalize..so no real pay day is coming

I am with CCS on this one. If you didn't watch it all the way through than you really can't comment on it. I watched it twice and as a dog owner myself I don't intend to again.,However, if you take the emotion of seeing a dog shot, the shooting of that dog was 100% justified.

 

 I don't know why the guy was detained in the first place and that is another topic, but a barking dog wanting to protect it's owner jumps out the car window, begins acting erratically and then lunges at the officer. The dog was in mid air lunging at the officer when he pulled the trigger. It was horrible to see a dog put down like that but the dog gave the officer no other choice.

Much as I hate to say it the cop who put the dog down was in the right.  The other two who started the whole tragic thing were out of line and should face some level of reprimand but the cop that dropped the hammer had a legitimate reason to fear for his own well being.

I'm a dog lover. I have a 3 year german shepherd male that is my best friend. I loved that dog more than my last gf. But I can understand why he shot the dog. I wished I hadn't watched the video, but it makes sense. The guy should have rolled up the windows when he put him in the back seat. I feel badly for the guy. Damn.

It could very easily argued that the fact that the dog is dead is his fault.

I take my gsd everywhere. I learned right away that one, a lot of people are afraid of big dogs. And two, everything my dog does is my responsibility.
