Well Bonnell pretty much shot down the idea saying he doubt it happens... but it was a good overrall idea that the Huddle came up with and agreed upon.

That sucks, I don't see why you wouldn't do it though. I really thought I had a genius Idea. lol

I just ran some numbers, and there is no way we could take on Biedrins contract... it's simply wouldn't work. Even retracting Henderson's offer wouldn't allow us to take on his contract. It would put us over the salary cap and into the luxury tax by about $4,000,000.

I thought they had 13 million Counting Hendo's QO, but not Zeller's contract. If that's right they could take on both Barnes and Biedriens salary.  Zeller and Hendo's contract would cancel each other out and leave team around 13 million under the cap while they would be picking up only 12 million in salary from Golden State.

Golden State is reportadly saying that they have found takers for Bogut, Jefferson and Biedrins. I wonder what they had to give up to get rid of each of them. Also being reported that the Lakers are now prepared to do a sign and trade involving Howard if they loose him in FA.

Hall of Fame writer Peter Vecsey, in the wake of ESPN.com's story about the Warriors' feverish attempts to create cap space, reported via his Twitter feed Thursday night that Golden State officials do believe that they have found trade destinations for Bogut, Jefferson and Biedrins should Howard choose Golden State and the Lakers refuse to engage them in sign-and-trade talks.

See, this is why you dont have to use your cap space immediately to sign free agents. Their are great trade opportunities to be had with team who want to shed salary if you have the cap space to make it work

Yea, but in our case we are looking at a long term answer in Jefferson. We're not looking to dump off contracts next year.

You guys saw Barnes dribble a bit in the playoffs and he has solved that part of his game?

Not really...he was improved but watch him close next season..it still is subpar to be considered a guard.

Danny Green and Barnes must have learned how to drive on opponents together.

Barnes will improve this aspect of his game but I will wait to see it.

Clippers are having a nice offseason so far.. Retaing Paul n Matt Barnes is a win... Now for Deandre Jordan to grow up!

Really like the moves the Pelicans have made this offseason.  I think with the expected improvement of Anthony Davis, they'll be in the playoff hunt this upcoming year.  That Southwest division is the best in the NBA.
