What kind do you currently have? What are your favorite features that make it unique from others?

 

If you have switched from apple to android or vice versa are you glad that did?

 

I currently have a 4s and cracked the screen yesterday. I am eligible to upgrade for early(Supposed to be Novembers 1st)but sprint will let me pay $125 for an early upgrade and buy back my current phone for $156. Would like to take them up on the offer but not sure the iphone5 has enough upgrades to make me want to switch so it has me pondering the HTC ONE or the Galay S4. Last option would be to pay $100 bucks and get the screen fixed and hold out til the new Iphone comes out and choose a phone from there. tldr; Tell me what the best phone on the market is right now.

I don't get why people spend money on the Samsung Galaxy or iphone.

 

I have a AT&T Fusion 2 and it does mostly everything that the Galaxy/iphone does but less cheaper.

 

Why pay more money just for a few more accessories?

 

All you need is internet and you can pretty much do anything you want with your phone.

HTC Rezound.  I would never have an iPhone, I just don't like them or Apple's philosophy.  

 

Having said that, I'm not totally happy with the Rezound... it was great at first but is slowly becoming a brick.  

 

I think they design obsolescence into these phones on purpose.

 

Everyone that I know that has an S4 loves them.  I am hearing good things about the One as well.

I haven't owned my own phone for years...all corporate stuff...so been a blackberry user.  they are alright but I know I'm missing out on a lot of fun stuff.

You not really missing out on much, most of the new high tech phones are mostly for pictures/facebook stuff. Like I said you can get a phone with internet and pretty much do the same stuff the iphone/galaxy can but at a much lower price.

 

Anybody own a  iphone? If so tell me what does it offer that my fusion 2 can't offer?

i have the nokia lumia 920

 

it's 10x better than the iphone and i like it much more than the galaxy. only problem is it was advertised as being practically indestrutible and my screen shattered on my first drop ever.

droid razr m was the best compromise between features/battery life/price for what i needed.  the non-removable (or at least not easily removable from what i've read) battery was the biggest drawback for me.

Everyyone here at my work uses iphones including me. One guy broke away from our iphone cult and bought a Galaxy S4. He likes it better and I must say I think I will go the way of the S4 or something simliar once my upgrade is available. We don't let him eat luch with us anymore because he is no longer an iPhone Elitist but I like what I see on his Galaxy S4 and having the choice, I would choose that over the iphone.

I am not saying that the Nokia Lumina 920 may not be the better phone in your opinion but WTH can it do that makes it 10 times better that an iphone? That sounds like comparing a flip phone to a smart phone.  I don't think there is that much difference between the phones except the Nokia is quite a bit bigger. I just wouldn't own a phone that I couldn't put in my pocket and that is why I never considered it.

 

So how is the Nokia so far advanced compared to others? I am honestly curious because I never really looked into it because of it's bulkiness.

to start it's not as bulky, at least for me, as people seemed to claim in the reviews. i'm 6'1 and it does seem slightly on the large side but it definitely fits in my pocket easily. i wouldn't even consider the size as an issue unless you're 5'2 or a little person.

 

when i bought the lumia 920 it had the best hardware in it out of any phone, although i have no idea if that's the case anymore. the display is incredibly crisp and the interface is very easy to use/learn. i like the look and the ability to customize your main screen. it has plenty of useful apps although the market may not be as saturated (yet) as the iphone/android stores.

 

as for how it's better than the iphone i'd say it's a combination of things. i can't think of an iphone feature that i thought was better than it's lumia920 counterpart. i'll admit, i had an iphone for a while and my desire for something new might have given me a bit of bias.

 

 

if bulkiness was the main obstacle for you i would definitely check it out or research it at the very least. you may be better off waiting for the next model as it has been out for a while now i think.
