It is going to be okay. We drafted the most athletic big man in the draft (actually in recent draft history) who was also the best player on probably the best team in college basketball.

This was the worse case scenario in my mind. And with the reports the cats tried to trade up to one makes it even worse. Haven't we learned about taking white guys in the top 5 (adam morrision). Not to make this an issue I just see limited upside and the guy is soft.

 

I don't see why some don't think he has no upside.  He is very skilled.  7'0 tall and incredibly athletic.  What are you looking for?

He's been exposed against stronger competition down low against college big men. All he's going to do now is get bullied by bigger stronger nba bodies. He tested well but that it. At best a nba backup.
