According to ESPN....

The Washington Wizards are close to a deal that would send the No. 5 pick in Thursday's draft, Oleksiy Pecherov, Etan Thomas and Darius Songaila to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Randy Foye and Mike Miller, a league source told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher on Tuesday.

Wizards

acquire Mike Miller

acquire Randy Foye

Timberwolves

acquire 5th pick in the draft

keep 6th pick in the draft

acquire Oleksiy Pecherov

acquire Etan Thomas

acquire Darius Songaila

The Wolves now own the 5th, 6th, 18th, and 28th picks in the first round. Trying to package the 5th and 18th pick to move up to the 2nd spot.

That's what I'm guessing, trying to move up to get Rubio. It would make sense since he claims he won't play for the Grizzlies.

God the timberwolves are horrible...What a fantastic idea to load up on draft picks in such a talented draft class! Kevin Mchale for GM of the year!

I actually like what they are doing, Foye didn't fit with them and was a mistake in the first place. Mchale has been fired.
