Montsta's Vegas Vacation

Hello fellow huddlers,

On Friday I will be going on my annual summer Vegas trip with my buddies. For the fifth consecutive year I will be putting money down on the Panthers to win the Super Bowl. Vegas currently has us at 60/1 odds, which I personally feel is ridiculous. I'll be dropping $50-$100.

What do you guys think of those odds? Generous? Offensive?

I wish I had money to just throw away!

I have blind, unwavering faith in this team year in and year out, and I put my money on the line to prove it. All they have to do is win once and I will have recouped everything I've lost on them and then some!!

I have a better bet for you. Super bowl participants. No way we will be one of the top 8 teams in the nfc. Betting the field typically pays 75-1. We dont even have to win and it doesnt matter who we play.

So is this basically a two-bet parlay for afc and nfc champions?

Last year we were 35/1, and I think we are much better. We are also listed at 7 wins so ill be putting another $50-$100 on the over because fug that poo.

If we get less than 7 wins I am running naked on the field in 2014... buck naked painted in falcons colors.

Just FYI.

See what Vegas has to say about that...

Go ahead and throw down a grand so you can go see them at Levi's stadium in 2016.

This is incredibly tempting. Pay for SB tickets with the money I made off of the Panthers winning the previous SB? That'd be great. As it stands if they win I'll make $6K. So that's not half bad.

    • Here's a thread where Ben Albright catalogues some of the more notorious fake ones, starting with NFLrums... Among those mentioned... - @NFLrums - @_MLFootball - @DanSileoShow - @CJGolson Others mentioned or known: - @WesSteinberg - @incarceratedbob - @nflnotify Don't buy any info from this bunch
    • Too early to tell. It's different in that aspect but if the draft is the same old then it's just polishing the turd. Not going on prodays was a basic step towards bare minimum. We will see.
    • I probably did not state this properly, but Waldo is on topic.  There was a lot of criticism about the Panther owners getting involved in 2023.  Bryce is doing fine and it could turn out to be the right pick--the point is, they need to 1. stay away from the process.  there is no point 2.  It seemed to have worked in 2024 and they were in the shadows or out of it, but we did not have a first rounder.  Then there was this altercation with the restaurant owner.  This year, we have the #8 overall pick in round 1 and they do not seem to be involved.  Or are they???? And this was meant to be light and humorous.
