Pretty good flick, better than Man of Steel and iron man 3.

Did have a 2012 vibe to it but its better than 2012.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10

I didn't read the books.

i don't get the whole 2012 compareson(been seeing that in a few places), outside of there being a few crazy action scenes I just don't get it.

2012, was campy and not very serious at all, but wwz was very serious. Now I loved 2012 but I love disaster movies especially if they make me laugh.

I didn't think it was horrible, and I actually enjoyed the ending. At the minimum it is a decent thriller, and if you like zombies you really can't go wrong here. 

 

 

Disclaimer: I have not read the book, which seems to be a large reason why people disliked it.
