Mike Shula in the sky box?

i really think it depends on who your eyes are upstairs. who would shula place up there, that he can trust?

That is why I said I would have loved for them to hire an offensive consultant. We all know Ron doesn't want any parts of the offense. I just think its a bad idea to leave Cam on the field with Dorsey a first time qb coach.

All offensive coordinators don't call the plays a lot coaches that call the plays are on the field. It's a good idea in my opinion with a young qb. There seemed to have been a disconnect with Cam and Chud. You could visually see Cam get frustrated with the manner in which the calls were coming in.

Look at Brees and Payton how good their offense flows with Payton on the sideline calling the plays.

Ok, yeah. I could see how having Shula, the person he had the most contact with, as the OC would alleviate most of that in and of itself going forward. They seem to have a good relationship and Shula probably saw the exact same issues.

Most OCs coach from the box, it allows them to see the whole field and how the defense is positioning themselves from play to play.  Whether Shula does that or not will  depend on what he and Cam think is best.  That might depend on how Cam And Dorsey get along.  We will know in a month or two.
