We can talk about all that after you admit that you aren't chosen.  You are doing a lot of whatever it is your doing for personal satisfaction but you haven't had a calling to do what you want to be doing.  So as long as you are doing for your own personally reasons, you will never have an ear to hear the true meaning of the things that you are saying.

The chosen one can literally tell you the meaning of anything that you come with but you won't hear because you don't have the ears for it.  It's cool that you want to be anointed and a teacher but you know not what you are doing.  I am only telling you this for pity because if you mislead people then you will be held accountable for taking things into your own hands.

You didn't hold back? Pray tell what you didn't hold back on, as I wasn't aware you said anything of interest in refutation outside of implying I was wrong via allusion to a verse out of context.

Come now, if you really wish to have a discussion you will need to bring more firepower to the table. Do week need to starting discussing the meaning of various Greek words, or the lineage of certain Aramaic texts? Maybe the interplay between Luke's assertions of Jesus as the Word and its philosophical implications to certain Gnostic sects?

Again, the fact that it hurts your feelings to be so ill-prepared for this debate is not a failing of pride on my part; it's your own pride being wounded.

Right I am running but you are saying be a big boy like you are clever or something but use your own words and be a big boy and ask the question.  You know what it is you want to know, and I am not about to be your dummy and read through 8 pages of posts to make you happy.  I hate to tell it to you but you aren't that important.

Also, why can't you be happy winning the conversation that you are having in your head?  I am giving it to you, so you win.  Congratulations!!!!!

Lol! So now it's my fault you can't back up what you say?

(Pssst! This is where you pretend to agree with me & hope no one notices that I'm right & you're running.)

Oh my whine!!!!!

Ok, just to see if you can do it...

If being gay is a choice, why is this choice wrong?

How can one "win" a conversation? You seem to be projecting a lot in this thread....

(Notice how I didn't run from your edit?)

Aside from morals, I honestly can't say.  obviously you haven't read anything I said.  I don't have a problem with gays, although I think it's funny and disgusting at the same time.  in fact i think it's really funny and I want to burst out laughing every time i see one but I don't cause I don't want to be thought being rude.  But why should I have to change who I am to please other people?  Should I have to hold in my laughter for the feelings of other?

Ah, yes, the classic "people who agree with me are the spiritually anointed ones" logical fallacy. Rampant in certain charismatic sects and loony theologies where irrationality is celebrated and actual devotion and deliberation of theological matters are discouraged. Too much "thinking" is bad thing for churches that rely on unquestioned devotion. Never mind the fact that Paul admonished believers to constantly test and verify the doctrines they are taught.

Furthermore, I make no claims whatsoever to be a teacher to others; it is not my place to make such a claim. I can only speak from what I have learned with the full understanding that I have put in the time and effort that very few have to understand in a deeper level. I don't worry about answering to anyone on this Earth about my conclusions, so your red-herring warning means nothing to me.

The fact that you find it funny speaks more to your sophomoric sense of humor than to anything meaningful. No need to ascribe morality to what seems to be plain uncomfortableness with homosexuality as a whole. Does the thought of two women kissing turn you on, and if so, don't you see the inherent hypocrisy?

Thunderkat presented legitimate arguments... i am now converted to his point of view.

I used to think guys hid behind religion to justify bigotry and hate but now see it confirms brain disorders and punishments we should abide by today from 1000 years ago...

Possessing a belief systems from ancient cave dwellers with attempts to understand the interconected human condition of modern society seems reasonable and progressive..let the Hunger Games begin!!

I imagine Thunderkat driving a truck with lotsa mud on it..

Finding something "funny & disgusting at the same time", & insisting that they are mentally retarded with no scientific evidence, while rolling your eyes at having to change the way you choose think, & at the same time admitting you can't say why its wrong aside from what you see as morally right, while assuming people are gay by choice, indicates you have a problem with them being gay.

Yep.. I think FP is on another plane of cognitive functioning than the basic garbled nonesense of Thunderkat's Id.

Hyprocrisy, yeah right.  opposites attract so 2 woman kissing is a thing of beauty.  Solomon had many wives and so did others in biblical times.  Is it wrong to want two women at once, I believe so because that is being greedy.  However, if I think something is funny then it's funny to me.  Just like some people smile when they see a clown, well the same way you would see a clown is how i see a gay person, especially one in costume.

To me a dude is a costume isn't something I see everyday, so it's funny.  If you think that it's normal then you obviously aren't in your bible studying the right things.  I didn't say I am uncomfortable, with seeing them, I feel uncomfortable laughing like I want too because I don't want to get scolded by the people that I keep in my company.  When I see one, they always look at me and say don't do it, because they know I am a breath from busting out laughing.

Why would I think it's wrong that someone is a functional retard?

Hold up, I am not an extremist I just have the proper name for them.  They can do what they want, just like a kid that cries because he wants what he wants, that is how they are and it's cool.  I just refuse to let them force their will on to me.
