His father did the right thing to get out if ministries if he was preaching against it then turns around and accepts it.

I don't see why. I'm a Christian who devoutly believes modern American religion has it very wrong on homosexuality and that no loving God would create someone with a genetic disposition and then condemn them for it. There's also the small fact that we aren't Hebrews in danger of being swayed by fertility cults (old testament) nor are we pederasts raping small boys (new testament) which covers all of the anti-homo prohibitions in the Bible.

Don't agree? I really don't care. Between the two of us only one of us has seminary training and twenty years of theological studies to base their opinion on.

I gotta lol at thus Mr PhD only response is, "no one can be thus stupid". Is that how you learned to handle opposition by taking the easy way out? That response took no effort whatsoever and I'm disappointed if those are the only bullets in your chamber.

come up with a scientific fact that will make me look like the dumbest piece of poo. If you can't then turn in your degree my friend.

Guys, we are getting trolled here. No human being can honestly be this stupid. Got to stop feeding it......

It amazes me that there are always individuals who get left behind in civil rights movements.  Our morality evolves with the times.  Just as slavery was abolished and women became equals, this too shall come to be.

If we stick to morality codes written hundreds of years ago, we never progress.  Slavery which is not only advocated in the bible, its practices are outlined.  Taken literally, the Bible states "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." Today we realize how antiquated this thinking is do to our evolving ethics and morality.

I do not hold anyones' religion against them.  I myself do not need a set of arbitrary rules to govern my life.  I have a clear set of ever evolving laws created by my state and nation, as well as a good sense of my own ethics and morality.

Arbitrary rules, you say?  lol this is getting ugly.  My opinions shouldn't offend anyone because like I said, I don't have a problem with who someone chooses to be with.  So let's clear that up right now.  nor am i judging anyone.

That comment was not directed at you.  More in response to Fieryprophet.  Sorry for the confusion
