Ok, I study neuropsychology for a living.  I have never once heard of a brain injury causing homosexuality.

Yes, there are multiple genes responsible for homosexuality, just as their are multiple genes responsible for your eye color.  It DOES NOT imply that they are any lesser than anyone else.

 

Homosexuality has been seen in all cultures, dates back as far as our written text, and has been documented in over 500 species.  It is as natural an occurrence as attached earlobes .

the real "public disservice" is that gay kids grow up and are told by people like you that they're not normal, and straight kids are told by people like you that the kid down the street who seems to like boys also isn't normal; he's "not right", it's a "perversion", and so forth.

 

In turn, these kids get bullied to no end, both from school to adulthood, emotionally and legally.

 

And a good few of them resort to suicide.
