Yea the rum is gone huh, maybe you need to leave the rum alone, because if he didn't comment about the op's topic or at least what I am wrong about, then he really has no opinion or at least not one he can put into words.

If you are that simple to come to a rescue and your answer is he said your answer is wrong, what kind of bozo are you?  I mean lets be for real, are you really serious?

i know you are joking right?  Please tell me.

reading good. learn lot from it. i am smart than you.

What a prick, you come with all of your garbled logic and you quote the bible but say you have no problem with gays. You shouldn't but that doesn't mean it's ok and should be forced into the culture of the masses.

Many people used to say the same about the kind of marriage I'm in... They were wrong too.

That day you look the other way is the day you give up your rights to speak your mind and if you feel like a grown man that dresses up in a costume and is serious in the costume is ok then you not only looked the other way.

What?

You agree with the other way and might sway in that direction. You said turn the other cheek, followed up with an lol, so I guess you can get the other cheek smacked as well by a dressed up guy and giggle..

I... How... No, seriously, what?

I didn't vote because I live in Va. I am completely against the federal government even recognizing marriages! It's a religious ceremony that stays between church and couple! Government needs to stay out of it. Federal government just needs to treat us all as individuals when taxing and only intervene in a case of child support enforcement.

You are mistaken.  Religion does not have a monopoly on marriage.   Marriage was around before any of the popular religions that we have today.  In the United States the government issues you a marriage license no religious ceremony required. It is a legal contract not a religious institution. Atheists get married and Im sure there is no preacher there for their ceremony. Now you may have a religious ceremony for your marriage, but this is not required in order for your marriage to count. You can run down to city hall and get married no religion required.  The issue is that the government is giving special treatment to straight couples and denying gay couples that same right.  This is where the problem arises and inequality presents its self.

Here is a good article about the history of marriage http://theweek.com/article/index/228541/how-marriage-has-changed-over-centuries

I gave up trying to read the whole thing... made it 26 pages, but it got to be just too much stupidity.

I will say one thing and move on, though. Whether trolling or not, this is the single-most embarrassing collection of McCarthy-era opinions I've seen in my ten years on this website. I've come here through the good and bad times, the highs and lows of our team, and I've seen a bunch of stuff that made me shake my head in pure wonder of how some folks made it past the sixth grade. But this thread takes the cake. We've managed to be insulting to people who are mentally-challenged, homosexuals, theologians, and for some reason - cauliflower. Impressive in its own right, but truly disgusting nonetheless.

This is the first time I've ever in my long tenure here felt ashamed of being a Huddler, and it's all because of the company we keep this day. I'm honestly saddened by the comments that have been made.

You are not the first person in this thread so say "ashamed" or "embarrassed" about this on the huddle. But it is everywhere.  I always find these threads very amusing and sad at the same time. That's why I would rather just make jokes at the bigots expence than arugue with them.

An hour and a half to read this thread. I will admit that I almost quit a few times. But I stuck with it and can now go read a book with a clear conscience knowing that I took it all in.

Functional Retardation. Can I use that at the inlaws next time I go? Sounds like just the ambiguously inane thought they would eat up. Like how 2 for 1 confuses them. What if I don't want 2? Can I still get just 1? These are the questions mediocre minds need to ponder.

Love the gheys or hate them. They ain't going anywhere. The wife, who has been in the F&B Bidness her whole life says the gheys are cool. So there you have it.

Sautéed Broccoli with garlic and olive ole' is the bomb.

Two types of people I can't stand. Folks that are intolerant of others peoples' cultures. And the Dutch.

And lastly before I slip off to bed to read. Let me leave this here. Being scared of something is not a bad thing in and of itself. It is how you deal with that fear that separates us from the lesser primates.

What's wrong with the Dutch?

Can't believe you read the whole thing.  I started the thread and can't bring myself to read all that.  Not surprising....see op.

Once I started reading I was like, ok, this is going to be interesting. Then it was like, wooowhoo, this just got weird.

I like to finish what I start. This thread almost ended my run.

And Austin Powers is funny. Nothing special movie wise. But still funny. And I love Michael Caine.
